The Generals' Quarters ( far right ) is a classic Victorian home
built in 1872 and fully restored and remodeled in 1997.

 

During the Civil War Corinth was occupies by over 200,000 troops.  For six months during 1862 Corinth then known as Crossroads was the key focal point for both

the Union and Confederate Armies.    The railroad crossing that caused all this interest is still here today.  Tour the wonderful museum now located in the original Ticket Station.

The largest and most comprhensive Civil War Interpretive Centerin the United States is located just 1/2 mile from the Inn.  Many of the original earthworks are still here as well as other

historic homes and sites.  Casually stroll the streets lined with trees over 150 years old and appreciate the beautifully restored homes and shopping district.

Our newest historic addition is the Contraband Camp where thousands of slaves started new lives as free men and women.
